30 Day Return Policy

The African Drum Store offers 30 day returns on all regularly stocked merchandise. This means that unless an ordered item required some form of special or custom order by African Drum Store, you may return it for any reason within 30 days  of your order being shipped.

The customer is responsible for shipping charges on returned items and all risk of loss. African Drum Store requires that all shipments have full insurance coverage and requires the use of a carrier that can provide proof of delivery.

 

RESTOCKING FEES:

If your order qualified for FREE SHIPPING you will be charged a 10% restocking fee.

 

If your order is returned to us not in the original box with the original packing you will be charged a 10% restocking fee.

  • You must contact African Drum Store at by submitting a RMA ticket before you ship any returned merchandise to request a return authorization number and form.  All returns sent without a RMA number and form will be refused. Include your name, email address and order number in the ticket.  After reviewing your RMA ticket we will then send you a RMA number and RMA form to fill out. By using the RMA request form it will create a paper trail of your refund, and speed up the process of your return.

  • Once we recieve your request we will send you a RMA form that must be signed and returned along with the merchandise.   
  • You must email us a tracking number once the return merchandise has been sent back.
  • No goods will be accepted for exchange or return without authorization.                                                          
  • Return your merchandise within 30 days of the original ship date at your expense
  • Provide us with a tracking number so we can track online the returned merchandise
  • All returned items must include a Return Authorization Number form, be in the original packaging*  otherwise the return WILL be refused or the refund request may not be honored.  
  • Returns originally paid for by credit card are issued a credit for the purchase price. Refunds are issued for product value only, excluding shipping and handling.
  • Reasonable effort must be made to insure the integrity of the original packing or refund request may not be honored.

 
Damaged Goods:

In the unlikely event that you receive a product that is damaged or defective please inform us by submitting a RMA ticket.

Please make note of damage in your RMA ticket.

All claims for damage or defective products must be made in writing and within three (3) business days of receipt. We will be more than happy to replace a defective/damaged product, however please note we will not send you a replacement until the original damaged product has been returned. Also, the damaged/defective product must be returned within two weeks after informing us that you have received a damaged or defective item. PLEASE RETAIN ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING FOR RETURNS. If you throw away your original packaging and need to return the damaged or defective product you will be responsible to find a new box for shipping back the item. No exceptions.

Upon receiving the damaged/defective product we will then send you a new replacement item.

If you fail to comply with any of the above terms we have the right to refuse issuing a refund for the damaged or defective item.

Prices:
Prices, quantities, and availability of items on this website are subject to change. While we strive to provide a satisfying experience for all of our customers, if a listed item is sold, out of stock, differs or has changed in description, pricing, or attributes from what is listed on this website, we reserve the right to cancel any order that cannot be filled accordingly. Of course, in the event that a problem such as this may occur, we will be happy to try doing what we can to arrive at an agreeable solution with the customer.

Non-Returnable Items
Anything marked down in the Clearance or discount section is not eligible for a refund only store credit.

Your card will be credited once we have received and processed your return. Credit card companies vary on the time it takes for a credit to appear on their customers' records. Please allow one to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.  We require that all items be returned to us by a shipping method in which you can get a tracking or delivery confirmation number. If we do not receive a return (or it does not show up in our records as having been received), we cannot issue a credit without a proof that it was delivered to us.
